The main application of sports photography is for editorial purposes; dedicated sports photographers usually work for newspapers, major wire agencies or dedicated sports magazines. Cut Outs

What is a Cut Out?

A Cut Out is where a subject of a photo is taken from it original photograph and place on a different background.

A Cut Out can be found in Magazines, Newspaper, and Articles.

How to make a cut out in Photoshop -

I. Open your photo in Photoshop.
II. Add a layer mask to the picture.
III. Use the Paintbrush tool to erase the Original Background.

-New Document in InDesign
-Put four quotes with four different Head Shots
  1. Regular Picture, Cropped, with Background.
  2. Cut out with white background.
  3. Cut out on white background with box.
  4. Freestyle Cut-Out.
